Abbey FarmWe have recently extended our facilities at Abbey Farm & Bakwell to include a completely secure Dog Pen and Training Area. So if you’re looking for somewhere to exercise your dogs without the worry of them escaping, bring them down. We are open all year round and your best friends will be sure to love it.

HIRE OUR SECURE DOG PENS ALL YEAR ROUND
Whether your looking for somewhere to safely let your dog enjoy some free play on their own or as a group one of our secure paddocks is the place for you. Set in the heart of Derbyshire, surrounded by stunning views all year round our half acre paddock at Darley Dale or 0.8 acre paddock at Bakewell are completely secure with a 6ft perimeter fence.
New for 2026, this year we are planning to expand our services even further by adding even more interesting and exciting items and events to our paddocks, following on from last years success with our family fun dog shows we are adding more dates to the diary, including Puppy Socialising classes, Gun Dog Training and Mantrailing.
Our paddocks are also available to hire privately 7 days a week in hour slot all year round. Block bookings also welcome.
On site tea and coffee facilities (please ask a memeber of staff) poo bags can be provided if needed, the paddocks have a bin by the entrance and water supply on the main yard.
